I would have thought that went under the "Tasty Beverages" heading. Oh well, to each their own.

Well I will also have a lot of coke (cola before you ask). Col. S your Kings beat down my Av's last night in the last preseason game .. This bodes not well.

Ye gads! *climbs up to whisper in Marv's ear* Surely, that was a fluke. A horrible mistake that in and of itself means nothing.
I heard Skylion was back. Perhaps you should invite him to join us?

I have actually gone by his place to see about a season opening celebration.

You're right, Frau, the Kings victory last night *was* a fluke. They only beat them 4-1. It was 5-1 over the Avs a few nights ago.
I wasn't sold on this whole spread-the-wealth, scoring-with-only-one-natural-scorer-on-the-entire-roster theme that has been built this offseason in LA, but the preseason performance (5 wins, 1 loss, 4 or more goals in all but the first game) has reduced my doubt somewhat, and I'm looking forward to it.
It might be time to revise my preseason forecast, too. The Flyers' rookie is lighting up the scoreboard. They're looking scary.

It was great watching Lemeuix's team get beat. the only bad thing about that game was the goal for the pens.

It was a pretty uneventful game. I even got a phone call during the last period and didn't mind at all since nothing was really going on. Now tonight, on the other hand should be fun to watch. Not only do my beloved Flyers play the Bure brothers, but the celebrity-laden Wings make their debut tonight. I'm looking forward to seeing Hasek, Robitalle, Shanahan, and Federov play together. The phone will be turned off!

I am counting on a bit of dissention in the Wings. They have the talent but I am greedy and want my team to get another cup.

Figure there will be a lot of squabbling amongst the talent? Too many chefs *do* spoil the soup....

There are a couple of primadonnas in that group. Lots of talent and possibly the next Vezina winner in their midst, but Hasek can be a pain when he feels like it. Hull too.
