I saw a new Italic and thought I'd pop over and be nosey basically. 
I'm sure you'll have fun programming for h2g2, as an outsider the site looks extremely complicated and I know Jim works v hard, so hopefully you'll be getting into the swing of things in no time, and be able to give him a hand when we bombard him with our wacky ideas! 
I could repeat everything our wonderful ACEs have already said, but there'd be no point. Feel free to browse my home page if you get a spare minute, and if for some obscure reason you want to ask me something I'm online most of my working hours and a few more!
Anyway, C U around, don't get too bogged down in the debates and remember, Don't Panic. (There's actually a button on my space should you feel the need)

BTW have just been looking at Planster and it is really cool, I actually have a rose growing on my desktop at the moment!
