Lost it?

Have you ever had something that had everything in it, such as a journal or a disc with every important thing you’ve ever really needed being on that disc? Now, have you ever lost that disc? I havesmiley - sadface, and I’m going through a great realization of how lost I am without it. I’m sure most people have gone through something like this (and if you haven’t yet, you will.) It’s a feeling almost like an overwhelming sense of emptiness. A vast universe where all this knowledge was contained is now oblivion, and you feel like you’re going to collapse into nothing. smiley - groan
Ok, I know this is over exaggerated. Nevertheless, you know the feeling. There is no way to get whatever you lost back, and it's just become one of those days.

LOL, Yeh. I just lost 3 very important things within the same month. I lost my little notebook that had all those ideas of mine (you know the one), smiley - sadfaceI lost my assignment notebook that had a collection all these documents (poems, quotes, research, ect.) that I found last year during school, and then I went to the library to see what I had on the schools computer and ALL the files I backed up had been erased. smiley - wah That's Years of work that I had done... GONE! And for most of the things I've lost, I don't have a single copy of them. I printed off most of my reports when they were finnished, but anything else is gone. smiley - blue (sigh) Not Good.

Wow...WAY not good! All the genius to waste! That's really depressing. I remember the one time I had my story (you know the one) all typed up...completely...and backed up nicely. Then my computer needed a good cleaning out, then the disk it was on didn't work, then Alyssa's computer (my hird and final backup) died, never to see the light of day again. I had to start from scratch and never finished. Of course, I had a hard copy. You, now, do not. It's alright though. I'm sure your genius will not suffer much loss, you can always write newer and better stuff.

smiley - rose
