Seeing Scotland for the first time
Posted Apr 29, 1999
I saw Scotland for the first time in 1997. I stayed in Edinburgh for the first of two weeks where unfortunately I was struck by a most uncompromising toothache. Fortunately, not far from the 'Royal Mile', there is a dental college where my tooth was seen to and the pain subsequently subsided. The 'Royal Mile' is a well known main street of Edinburgh upon which there is a tour operator called Rabbies Trail Burners. If you want to meet experts on what to see in Scotland, besides just castles and distilleries, pop in and say 'hello, show me what youve got.'

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
