I think you are editing my Safari article and saw that the version of it on my homepage is an old version. I just wanted to ask if you have the most recent version. After re-reading the guidelines for articles I think it relates too much to a specific safari and specific people, which I've tried to change and the newer version is a bit better in that respect.
Thats all I'm asking about. Actually I was surprised to be able to identify who was editing.

Nod, I thought that about the original... although I think it still would've had a fairly good chance...
I say 'would' because, in fact, I've retired from sub-editing for a bit... various other bits and pieces have meant that I'm not really able to do enough work to be properly useful...
So, in fact, your article is now out of my hands... being part of the batch I had when I finally gave up, a couple of days back.
Anyhow. Sorry to get all melodramatic at you
What should happen is that the in-house editors will spot that you've updated the original, and work with that. You might want to post a short note in the forum of the new article, just to make sure...
And, well, even though I'm no longer really an official h2g2 official, this is still worth saying I think: thanks for putting work into writing articles for the Guide, it really is appreciated
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful...
