26199 is listed as having edited the above. The writer's email address is no longer valid. I spent time and energy trying to point out corrections to the article. These corrections are now listed below and I hope you can go into the original article and edit it. Alternatively, can I write you a new one?:
One of the Deepscan contacts was at 192 metres
You say only six images stand the test of time. Please advise to which six you refer.
You say, "The pictures taken from the 1987 expedition may look impressive but questions have been raised about the high level of computer enhancement.", but I think you mean 1972. Also regarding this, there is no problem with the computer enhancement process. The problem with these pictures is that they have been retouched after being enhanced, in other words, faked. Suggest you visit this page: http://www.loch-ness.org/sections/themystery/evidencepages/sonar.html#academy , then this page: http://www.loch-ness.org/sections/themystery/evidencepages/underwaterpictures.html. You may then wish to change your wording.
You mention that the sturgeon grows to 20 feet, six metres. In fact the World Record sturgeon was 27 feet, 8.3 metres and over 240 years old see: http://www.loch-ness.org/sections/themystery/evidencepages/candidates.html#fish.
Please note that the links above may be split in some emails. Be sure to use the full link to find the appropriate page. I also think a link to www.Loch-Ness.org would be very valuable to your readers.
Kind regards,
dln

Unfortunately I was only a sub-editor, so I don't still have access to the article.

Posting your comments on the article itself is the way to go -- which I see you have. Thanks.

Actually, posting corrections to <./>feedback-editorial</.> is probably the best thing to do. But, lurking, I found this message and have done something about it.
