I dont think you under stand. Lego blocks are one of the most important inventions of all time. I've been using legos for 13 years now. Believe me my friend you are not alone.

Thankyou for your support. People who scorn Lego don't realise what they are doing. I too consider it one of the best inventions of all time, and the Mindstorms stuff that is just out is especially brilliant. Keep on building.

There's nothing wrong with Lego I agree.

Wish I could afford all that MindStorms stuff. Looks and sounds great!!

The Lego Mindstorms stuff is expensive, I agree - far too expensive. However, it is great fun, if a little hard to get in to (I'm finding it very hard to build effective robots).

Having said that, once you have built a robot, the feeling you (or at least I) get is "Wow! I've done it!... So what do I do now apart from take it to bits and start on a new one?" - it seems pretty pointless sometimes, if you know what I mean.

I don't know what you could do if you wanted a set but couldn't afford it. The Robotics Invention System looks about the best set, perhaps some people will sell theirs off second-hand on the internet, I don't know. Sorry.

What do you do when you finnaly complete a difficult lego model? You keep it and play with it untill you have an idea of how to make it better. I have gone through half a dozen versions of my Lego Trebuchet. I can now launch a projectile all the way across the room. I will keep it untill I have a better design, or I really need the parts for another great idea.
