I'm writing from my new apartment

I've also had a call from Andy. It's so strange. This life is so strange. But my new apartment is a good cheery 2nd floor place and the Landlord and his son are lovely. smiley - smiley

It's raining and cozy in my new apartment and I'm still the girl who never sleeps.

smiley - smiley HOORAY KRISTINA!!! Congratumalations on your newish room! smiley - smiley

So, I still love my apartment and the good news is that I managed to throw enough stuff out before the move AND store enough stuff that everything I have fits neatly into a drawer or closet. There is NO clutter and plenty of space and with the wood floors and doors and all my decor is PERFECT.

Todd lives directly undernieth me now and we watched SLC Punk last night (fantastic movie) and hung out in his air conditioning. It was very comforting going to sleep knowing that my friend was right downstairs.

People will have to come and see my apartment. smiley - smiley I've fallen in love with it. smiley - smiley

bubster, you need to tell them that that's too fargin' late to make you work. It's TOO FARGIN LATE I SAID!

Well, he's swimmin'. Mind the sharks.

*dang*

I'm either going to have to turn around, or get a longer power lead for my computer...

Help!

Post 11

Classic Krissy

Oh no! Did you remember your water wings?? Is your powerline watertight?

Hmmmm... you could be in real trouble here, you know.

Instant island - just add water

Post 12

I've got a survival kit here somewhere in my speedos

*rummages*

And I just pull this to inflate and...

... there we are!

You know, you're awfully well prepared. They shouldn't have made you work so late.

I suspect they hate me. Which, on the whole, is not a bad thing smiley - winkeye

Meanwhile, I'm glad I took that major in hammock construction...

Only stoopid people hate bubster

Post 15

Classic Krissy

Are you (dare I ask?) are you a swingin' fool?

Down with the stoopid people say I!

Post 16

bubster

To be asked that by the queen of swing herself is rather overwhelming...

... but yes, I'm swinging wildly between two palms.

*prepares to kill all stoopid people*

Post 17

Classic Krissy

Well, that sounds cozy. And nobody likes to swing alone. Find an island friend. smiley - winkeye

*looks with dark-eyed jealousy*

You can SLEEP. You know, I've had real insomnia only once or twice before. I've gotten about 12 hours sleep total over the past week and I don't sleep for longer than 2 hours at a time. Ugh.
