h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

On a totally different website that I hang out at people got into a particularly nasty religious argument today. I subscribe to the whole idea of "live and let live" when it comes to religion, but folks can get so nasty.

Someone really hurt my feelings and it's funny because I've been around such great folks for so long, here and at the Floor, that I forgot that my feelings could be hurt, really. Or that someone wouldn't want to actually discuss something but would want to sit there calling me names.

I can't wait unti H2 gets cracking again.

This argument wasn't actually, um, on the Floor, was it? Because if it was I can go be all mean to someone for you...no one hurts Krissy's feelings on my watch, dagblammit!

LOL! I had the same reaction Kate. In fact, I went hauling over to the Floor to deliver some knuckle sandwiches.

I haven't seen any trouble in the forums. Maybe in Golly...

Nono, wasn't there. Floor was very quiet today. Everyone too busy returning here or something.

A Religious argument?? And, no one told me about it, why?!?

Thanks you guys! I actually got a lot of support that rushed in after I had left this journal.

It wasn't at the floor (I LOVE THE FLOOR!) and it wasn't at h2. It was at a wedding site, which you can kind of see. The living-together-before-marriage issue comes up and the athiests all scream at the militant christians and everyone damns each other either to bovine stupidity or to hell.

It was an ugly day.

After I posted here the girl that hurt my feelings got torn a new one by the other folks, so I did feel much better.

I don't like being picked on. Especially when I'm just trying to moderate an insane breaking-bottles-type-brawl.

I'm glad you'z gots my back dough.
