And she simply rocks!
Visiting as directed ma'am!
So are you going be be able to make it to DC this July? Aside from the tremendous heat and humidity, it sounds fun!
*counts on fingers*
Will you be married by then? Once I run out of toes, math gets too complicated for me...

Awwwww JIMI ROCKS!!
Thanks for visiting me! I like it when you come around!
I'm not going to be able to go to the meeting thingy because I'm going to be getting married at the very end of April (so we'll be poor) and we have to go back to London at the end of July for a wedding that Andy is best man in.
I'm getting married in SO SOON!
I'm so excited! Andy's sold his flat and his car and he's going to get Maggie next weekend and so Maggie & daddy are going to be together!! Then just a little bit after that he's going to send Maggie her and then follow her out! WOO HOO!!
*jumps around all excited*
My life is FINALLY starting for real!!

Wow!
With all that going on, you don't think you'll be free?
And once you're married, you start thinking about having kids and buying a house and pretty soon you end up like me - with a crater on top of your shoulders where your head exploded.
(actually it's great, but one morning you wake up and realize that you're a grown-up and it's pretty freaky)

Yes..well I'm already terrified, thank you. The wedding is making me crazy. As much as I love it, it's making me crazy.
I appear to be particularly disgruntled today. Maybe it'll get better tomorrow.

Jimi X Posted Jan 15, 2001
But if you weren't disgruntled, what would you be...gruntled? I'd rather pass that gruntledness around than keeping it all bottled up inside.
I find that's the best policy. Well, that and honesty. But you didn't ask me about that...

Well, it's just that my wedding and my parents and my vendors and my fiance and his parents are making me crazy crazy crazy with all of their demands and their lack of responding-to-me-ness.
How are you doing today?

Jimi X Posted Jan 17, 2001
Pretty good.
My parents aren't that involved in my life (thank bob) so that's one bit of stress I don't get to enjoy!
Hang in there - if worse comes to worse, flash them the certificate or simply throw a tantrum. That'll learn em!

I have discovered (much to my chagrin) that the old ways work the best. If I'm upset, I cry, then they give in. Actually I rarely cry because I'm not getting something, but because I just get overwhelmed. It's like I pop. I'll be fine fine fine then I'll bump my arm, or Andy will do something little that's annoying and suddenly I'm RAVING CRYINGWOMAN! Mwaahahahaha!!
It's getting worse as the wedding gets closer. I can't even imagine what I'm going to be like the week of!! EEK!
And how are the small people that live in your house?

Growing bigger every day.
I'm thinking about posting a photo from X-mas on-site when I get over this case of terminal laziness...
I got me a pair of cuties to match their pretty mother. I hope you get as lucky!

Awwww... so sweet.
*pokes Jimi firmly to get him over his lazy streak*
Andy and I have picked (seriously) 3 names so far... For a girl we have Sophia. We're going to call her Sophie (I want Sophia Christine Baker after her mama) and for boys we have Charlie (Charles Andrew Baker) or Jack (Jack (I want Jackson)Andrew Baker).
Number one, I can't believe that we agree that Charlie, Jack, and Sophie sounds perfect...but I also can't believe that we are genuinely discussing children. EEEEE!
He spent the day holding his friend's daughter about two weeks ago and had to tell me all about it.
I'm a happy camper.
I also want to see that pic!!

What family with little kids doesn't look happy at X-mas time? The girls were very good and Santa rewarded them in kind.
