h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Charlie and I came up with some rules for the Red Dwarf drinking game.

1) Every time someone says "Smeg" you take a shot.

2) Every time Rimmer makes that FACE, take a shot.

3) Every time the Cat asks "How'm I lookin'?" take a shot.

4) Every time Rimmer calls Holly a goit, take a shot.

5) Every time Lister refers to Kochanski by name, take a shot.

6) Every time Lister refers to a curry, take a shot.

7) Every time Holly refers to his IQ, take a shot.

These rules got Charlie and I totally pissed just from byte 1.

Cool. I bet that would work if you only used "smeg".

Do you suppose "goit" is short for "goiter"? hee hee. A useless neck growth. Not too shabby.

Oh, I went over to Craporama Inc today, and read the Red Dwarf/ Discworld crossover.

Someone with WAAAAYYY too much time on their hands...

That's true, but you must consider that without nerds like him to do that and to find every SINGLE song ever mentioned in the series, etc...nerds like me would have nothing to do on slow Fridays at work.

*despirately hides the fact that she spent last night proofing and correcting a script of the smeg-ups tape*

I actually went to a site that has the script and when I got there I noticed that there were a ton of Smeg-ups in his Smeg up script. So I took the script home last night and went through and fixed a lot of it. I'll give you a link to the old one, but keep in mind he's going to update it. A lot of what you'll read is actually incorrect.

This is the first time in about six weeks that I have money to spare that isn't going to go directly to bills. I'm excited. I get to get food and Red Dwarf... and beer... a good combination...

I love that.

I just bought a hat. It's not just any hat. It's a $90 fancy schmancy handmade hat. It was a stoopid purchase that I can't really afford and I DON'T CARE!! HOORAY!!

Hats are good. Especially hats that you can't properly afford. Does this hat do anything? I mean besides give you that warm fuzzy feeling in the pit of your tummy that tells you you got a new toy?

It sits rakishly upon my head in that jaunty 1930's sort of way that says, "I may be made out of burlap and netting, but I've been hand-stitched by geniuses and they used only the FINEST burlap and netting." It slightly covers my left eye and leaves the two pieces of hair curlind down on my cheeks. Think "Enchanted April".

We are going out to the Handcock building tonight so that I might properly display my new hat. Hooray! It's an event!!

My friends coddle me to much, they really do.
