I can't remember how I noticed originally, but I think I did a search on 'Lancaster' and I saw all your forum entries to people from Lancaster uni. I'm from Lancaster originally (actually from a small village outside it - my dad lives in Eskrigge, near Hornby, up the Lune valley), but I'm not in London, studying at Imperial College.

You're not in London and studying at Imperial college. Now that is a clever trick!
I too searched for "Lancaster" found all these people, who then all promptly ignored me.
Even Londoners are friendly than that. Perhaps they're no being unfriendly - perhaps they're just lazy and don't read their h2g2 page. That's all right then.
You also found my Morecambe entry (which I will update... sometime), ah Morecambe, "The Naples of the North". What's Eskrigge like then I haven't heard of it. Any good?

So are you currently living in Lancaster?
and if so whereabouts - I lived in Burrow Beck for 8 years - my parents are still there.
It's amazing where you bump into Old Lancastrians - I went to Brusells for a conference at the end of last year and bumped into someone who went to school with my mum in an Irish Bar - The Flying Geese - which I can highly recommend.
Gotta run

Well I'm currently at the University, but when they let me out I fly north to Morecambe, land of the blue haired ladies - and I'm not talking about Punk weekend either.
