journal of a wandering mind. entry 4.
Posted Feb 3, 2004
another not so busy day. i'm absoloutly astounded at the amount of work i should be getting on with but i'm not. writing a song in answer to one written by my friend. seems to be a recurring theme recently, songs. have a list of ones to download as soon as i can get a decent computer. heres hoping! normaly i leave more time between journal entrys but i'm really not fussed anymore. i'm curious to see what comes out of my mind when i just let it wander. strange place my mind is.
heard from my cousins in chicago, makes me feel like i should just leave and go see them. right actually need to do something now. shock!
expect shorter entries form now on! bye.

Journal of a wandering mind. entry no.3

first online entry. fun idea though, interesting the things that come to you when you really should be doing something more productive. last entry was at my desk in the summertime. entry before was written looking out of a plane window as the lights of philladelphia got smaller and smaller. talk about a change of scene! i'm now writing at my desk in work. been a funny old week, as have quite a lot of my weeks recently. seem to be leading a bizzare life.
the biggest thing happening to me at the moment;
my girlfriend just quit her job and is going home.
i've known for months that it was on its way, but it never seemed to sink in.
the second biggest thing happening in my life at the moment;
my two best friends have split up after three years. leaves me stuck squarely in the middle, yet again.
I wonder if i'll look back in a couple of years and think "aww, what inconsequential drivel i used to care so much about" but i think thats part of the fun. will either of these events impact much upon my life in 5/10/30 years. (will i still have a life in 5/10/30 years?) i'd like to think so. (to both those questions!) this might give you a small insight into why i keep a journal, albiet a highly irregular and possibly irrelaevant one.
