Who makes your poking sticks, Jimi? I need to get a new one, but I prefer them to be well-crafted and sturdy. Does your stick-maker do pointy ends, as well...?

Pointy ends? Heavens no!!
Mine is a solid piece of maple with ivory inlays. I'll see if I've got the stickmaker's card handy. He only does custom work so he is a bit pricey!
Maybe I can get him to do a quick prodding stick for you. That way I can poke while you prod her into doing an update! 
I wonder how long it'll be before she notices?

A prodding stick would be good. I've been looking to diversify my collection. Custom work, of course, is the only kind to pay for...!
I suspect that we may have to go through other channels, although this could be a step too far, possibly. She'll notice only in her own good time, as the great and the good typically do...

Anna, because my prodding stick is still unsheathed, I will be forced to use it until there is no more call for it, at which time I will burn it - promise. I will try to keep it under control, but sometimes it just gets away from me...
