Hi Anna,
Just a quick hello 
I see you have been playing with some preserves- great stuff. Its something that I would like to do.
A few months back I in a restaraunt noshing the mezes!. And I discovered a dish with pickled turnips. Well its sounds disgusting but boy it was delicious. Anyway I dug out an old book I had on the subject and made some for myself -Heaven. I had a go at pickled ginger and that turned out very good even if I do say so myself.
