Hello again Anna -- I have been referred to you by RhoMuNuQ, in your capacity of updater of the Guide for Subeditors' style. He has done a nice job subbing my Wittgenstein article, but has removed a load of em dashes of which I was particularly fond . . . see F114262?thread=248442

The grammatical difference between dashes and hyphens was pointed out to me in the Trinity College Dublin style book for grad students. I have been a keen dasher ever since. So was Wittgenstein. The greatest dasher of all was possibly Laurence Sterne (Tristram Shandy).
