I saw that my masking tape article was canceled, and I didn't do it. When I uncancelled it I saw that you had edited it.

Why was it cancelled? was it my reference to 3M?

Oh dear. What can I say? It was a mistake! As far as I can remember I had a look at it I think I made a copy of it, and with our editor tools I automatically made myself an editor... Sorry SetupWeasel

what's the expected wait on a submition(sp?) being looked at?

I realize you must have a whopping amount of text to slog through, but some sort of "workflow" on an entry would be nice. Some simple status messages, on our "home" page, with simple, "152nd in queu", "assigned to ACE #6", "edited, please review" type messages would be nice. I just feel that this "(submitted)" phrase just lying there in the text seems less than fulfilling after a while.

As you've probbably guessed, I have a submision(sp?) I'm eagerly awaiting to be published. Its on Light Bulb Jokes, and I submitted it 8 weeks ago. I've seen others fly through in as little a 3. (not that I'm complaining.... well, maybe nitpicking) I wouldn't even mind a "regected" I just want to know some one has looked at it.

My first page wasn't looked at until about week 19, so hang in there. After a while I stoped expecting to be accepted or rejected, and when it eventually happened it was a nice surprise rather than a disappointment.

I expect it will be pretty soon. We are just trying to get the virtual christmas decorations out of the box - seriously we are having to prepare things for Christmas / New Year and edit at the same time. Anna really is ploughing through things as fast as she can, she is very hardworking!
