Hello Anna -- thank you for inviting me to write to you; is this the right place?
My beef is that my article 'Rainbows End' has had its title changed to 'The End of a Rainbow' which I find a great disimprovement.
Rainbows End is a precis of the article; it is, as I hope to have demonstrated, a true statement of fact.
Looking back at my space I see it has now become Rainbow Ends.
An improvement, but I still prefer Rainbows End. Please?

Thanks for coming to visit As I said, titles should accurately reflect what's in the entry... How about 'Rainbows - a Reflection'?

Dear Anna
I know you're trying to help, and 'Rainbows - a Reflection' does have some meaning, but I can't for the life of me see what's wrong with 'Rainbows End'. It is one of my happier inspirations.
I feel like withdrawing the piece from edition unless it can retain its original title; and if I have not the right at this stage to withdraw it, then putting a sentence into my own copy (which I gather remains in the unedited guide) to the effect that this is the reseacher's own version and to be preferred to the edited one, which has in the researcher's opinion merely been arbitrarily disimproved.

Hi Anna I see you're on line at the moment -- don't mean to pester you, but postings 24 & 25 of F84859?thread=250033 need a response.
