Me and a couple of other researchers are concerned with the activities of a group on h2g2 and there stated aims http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A873038 Assoc of researcher skeptics Interesting aims discussed in the convo threads here seem to indicate there intention to stop the publication of all but the most scientific of entries in the guide. Surely this is against guide policy and DNA wouldn't be happy about this attitude! An example of the work of one of their number is this peer review thread which left the new researcher feeling like withdrawing from the guide!!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F48874?thread=221015 can u check out this, or get someone to look at this please and get back to me please! Hi Zarniroop,
Thanks for getting in touch with me. h2g2 is a guide to life, the universe and everything, it certainly isn't our intention to concentrate on only scientific entries. It certainly is against guide policy. Entries have to pass the criteria in the Writing-Guidelines and Researchers can suggest changes according to those Guidelines, but that's all.
I'll ask around about this...
Take care,
Anna
