At the time I didn't feel that anything I said would be received positively. But I take your point and have learned something too smiley - winkeye

a girl called Ben

Now you have confused me Anna. But hey - I am used to that. I would ask what you mean, but this is a dead issue, and this conversation needs to die with it, so I am about to unsubscribe.

Who regularly says things like:

"No we cannot include a translation workflow in Release 0.2".

"The nested templates will take a week to code and an additional week to test; it is not in the budget or the project plan, so we cannot do it without a change request".

"Training is outside our remit; however the software vendor does one-three- and five- day courses depending on the level of the users, at $750 per day".

"If you don't let us have a copy of the style guide this week we cannot implement the corporate look-and-feel by the end of the month".

Professionalism is not about what you say being received positively. It is about answering straight questions with straight answers, so that everyone can base their actions on solid ground.#
