A question to you.
Dr Hell Started conversation Feb 4, 2002
Good morning Anna, You seem to have enough authority/power/responsibility to edit entries (I am saying this because I thought a guy named MCB was responsible for editing my entry - It was his name that appeared on the entry's blue-box. I asked him (also on his personal space) but it was you who responded and changed most of the other reclamations I had made under the 'Optical science' entry. For this reason I am now asking _you_ right here. If you are not the correct person I am adressing, please tell me and accept my apologies.) First of all let me thank you (and MCB, perhaps) for the editing job. 98% of the bits that got edited sound way better than I could have ever formulated. About the other 2% (my rough guessing here) I have posted conversations to understand why the parts got changed. Most of it got answered and I understood. Thanks for that, too. There are two bits I have complained though that remain un-explained or un-tackled. One concerns the parallel between two scientists, that was regarded by you as a useless 'repetition' of the same phrase in a text. To me it's a figure of speech. I still didn't get it. The reasons, the discussion and the place where I expect to read an answer is elsewhere, I am not going to elaborate on this here. (I have noticed the conversation on the top of your personal space, so I think you are probably checking this out soon, anyways.) The second deals with the 'Alexandria, Greece' part that got mutilated out of the original script on the way to the pending-entry-status. My questions are here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F80742?thread=162716&post=1706241#p1706241 That's where I hope to find an answer from someone, maybe you, Anna. I am sorry if I am bothering you right here. But I feel I had to draw your attention to that in some way. Again: If you are not the right person to ask this kind of thing, please tell me, and accept my humble apologies. Sincerely, HELL
