And happy new year.
I think I can safely say that the Scouts and Sub Eds did an excellent job of keeping Ashley, Sam & Chris in check while you were away
Er, if you have/had any problems logging on your computer, that will be my fault. The password got changed when I spent a week at the Towers back in August.
See you on site

Hallo Croz! Thanks for the welcome - I knew this was a friendly old place. I did have problems logging on this morning, but I'm certain it wasn't your fault. And besides the nice administrators sorted it out in a jiffy I trust you had an excellent Christmas and new year...

Welcome back and Happy New Year, Anna!
Seeing that you were online was my first double-take of 2002...

It was me, bright and early on h2g2 - I feel like I should be hanging out on the newcomer's welcome page! Good new year?

Yes thanks, very quiet though; not much of a hangover on New Year's Day, thank goodness!
How about yourself?

Oof - I ate shedloads of food. I think it was about 10 courses. We spent the evening with a couple of friends who really know how to cook. I haven't needed to eat since! No hangover for me either - I decided to volunteer for driving home as sore heads and furry tongues are no joke when you're woken at 5.30 on a regular basis!

Sounds yummy - the food, not the early mornings or (optional) furry tongues. I'm currently getting by on poverty rations as I'm saving up for a printer and maybe a scanner too, but the odd big feed is still very much part of my plans.
