Hi Teasswill,
Not bad thanks! Had the op at 2pm, and was home by 7!
I'm back in at 8am today to get the dressing taken off, but a quick glance around the side of it shows that the vision is already dramatically better!
Feels wierd though - it's like I've got a bit of grit stuck in my eye that I can't get rid of. Hopefully that'll get better soon.

The grit feeling is probably partly the stitches, but hopefully that will diminish. Don't panic if the vision changes - as the eye heals, the shape of the cornea may alter. What's important is the vision with best spectacle correction.

Just trying to take it easy and trying (with all my might!) not to rub it 
My vision is already notably better (hey, I can read the top letter of the eye chart now!)
Anyway, they've given me some steroid drops and some antibacterial drops, and it's time to take it easy (although my boss did call me a couple of hours ago for some advice!)
