Hi Strangely Strange, I do hope I haven't offended you.

I know a lot of what I said was offensive in the conversation some weeks back about Muslims and Islam, and I really regret that. It was not directed at you, but I was very upset by some of the things I was reading, and I was posting faster than I can type, so it was not always clear that I meant one specific person by "you" most of the time. It wasn't you, but I'm afraid that you might think that it was.

I took your advice to "chill", and I am grateful for it. I decided that it was not wise for me to read any of the conversations which have sprung up here since on the subject, partly for my own mental and emotional well-being, and partly because it is the best way for me not to make more ripples on the site.

But I have noticed that you have not been back to the Atelier since, and I am worried that that is because of how I behaved on that one thread that evening. I wouldn't want to upset or hurt you, and I would not want to put anyone off the Atelier.

It's Ok, forget about it , I tend to flit about a bit anyway.
There is no point in getting involved in too stressful things on here, otherwise just spoils the fun , and it ends up being more fun to watch TV!

I do want you to know that I do think I was out of order in a lot of the ways in which I expressed myself that evening, and that in particular, I did not mean you, and did not want to have upset you.

I will take your advice again, and forget about it now.
