SB, there's some 'concern' whether poems/poetic prose are allowed or not as some of us thought this was a pure short story comp? (Cc. posts 332-339)
If only short stories were allowed, Weaver does have a point.
We'd have to clarify it so there won't be any confusion in this comp.

It makes a difference if me and others were treating it as a short story comp. You wouldn't send a poem to a short story competition, would you?

Sorry Lynda
It is essentially a short story challenge. Some of the entries have been poetic in their approach. Difficult. All I can say is try to keep it to story format. If it spills on to the page as a more poetic offering try to format it as a story and not an out and out poem. This is still supposed to be a FUN challenge. Let's try not get too bogged down with the details.
Welcome Halfajobdun
Only three places left and one week to write your entries. There will be no leeway after the twenty has been reached as the whole thing will get too big and time consuming for everyone.

It seems we're saying, "it's not strictly OK, but who cares?"

It's that bit at the top of any internet page, where you type in any website addy you want to go to. At the moment for example it says http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/getwriting/AddThread?inreplyto=5844645
When you click on the work you saved it will have an A number at the end (instead of the conversation thread) I hope this helps.
