Indeed, old Norton will be called in to be our bodyguard, and Zonealarm will also be called in, our armed response, and the nicotine patch will arrive in the post this morning. Hence, due to the lack of patch, I am not up and running on the internet front yet. I will sort that out later tonight. My issue is that I managed to get far enough in my online registration for it to generate an access password for me and to register my modem, unfortunately, just as the screen with my password on it came up, my pc shut down and I didn't see the password in time. Now my service provider is reading that my modem has already been registered, but I haven't actually been able to complete the installation due to the above issue, my email isn't set up, I haven't got a permanent IP address for the server, and I can't actually get online at all really. I will have to see what it does tonight. I uninstalled everything to do with my modem and service provider last night, so hopefully I will be in luck with it tonight.

I think I have missed my calling in life....I seem to have an talent for computer programs and operating systems. I should be a tester. 
I guess I'll need to refine my talent so that it's less of a raw chaotic destructive force, and more of a planned strategic attempt at breaking something.
