Hi there Jim,
Did you want to take part in WWW? we have some novices like yourself, and I understand that your writing is a simply recall of events, but you must want to write - otherwise you wouldn't have joined the site - and I see great potential in you.
If you don't want to, I'll understand, but feel that it will be a great loss for yourself if you don't keep it up.

Hi, Kaye: Sorry for the delay in answering your query. I've been a little tied up domestically for a couple of days...!
In addition, I am having an identity crisis, as you will note if you take a look at my introductory piece on My Portfolio - "Who's A Writer, Then...?
Leave me off the bench for a while whilst I browse around the site and my own abilities to see whether I have - and am - something worth committing to the group.
Don't say "To hell with him" or anything like that. It's just a confidence thing. I'll dip into one or two books on the subject of Writing and see if I may match up to the requirements...
Meanwhile, I wish you every success with the new group and look forward to perhaps joining you at a future date.
