Hi Falls,
How's the mad musical muse these September days?
This just a wee note to say that I posted comment on one of your earlier poems - The Cardboard Grave - but I don't think you've subscribed to any posts.
Anyway, I will be shuffling through your body of work later this week. Your latest collection intrigue me as I work in a Bookshop, (and library too), so I'm looking forward to flicking through those pages!

hi ya Jen, brilliant to hear from you again. It's been far too long. Left Cardiff for a few days to recharge. Heard you'd gone for a bit of a holiday too? More than a few moments of madness on this end but who's counting. That's a lethal combination, bookshop and library. There's something in the air that just keeps me coming back to the Bookshop!
And thanks for reading Cardboard Grave, that one had collected a few cobwebs.

And what are you doing up SO late, young man? Or are you JUST getting in?!
My excuse, I'm a little mad insomanic and operate better in the wee small hours of the morning.
So thee Bookshop, tell me more....

I'm on night mode to be sure. Back at work in a few hours ... couldn't resist catching up. Ow's about you .. off today are you, or planning on zzzzzz between the shelves?
The Bookshop, ... mmmmmm ... decent enough, as far as books go.

Off today? 'Fraid not, kid! I'm in library until Thurs, then bookshop Fri & Sat. No rest for the wicked, they say. Plus to steal a little doze is impossible. Too many Large Print borrowers and Mills & Doom folk about on a Tuesday! Seems th elderly like to swarm the place day most especially. Could tell you stories....
So, you NEVER answered me. What's with the BS?! I'm curious. ELABORATE, or else the blobby men get it.........................

Gawd, my speeling has gone to poT! One eye is close over and yawning.... The other is wide awake and glaring.....

btw Cardboard Grave - yes belfast, a place I'll not soon forget ... nor revisit.
Thee Bookshop - I have to admit that it was inspired by a certain bookshop employee. I don't want to call it an experiment, but I wanted to see how it would be to capture as much as I could from a moment where I was about to meet a complete stranger. Surprisingly, it was all right. I'm at a standstill right now, but I may have it in me to write more, and bore all of you to tears.

Belfast, yes. I'm not too knowledgeable on the place, have ever only really been there as many times as i have fingers (and thumbs).
Oh, I didn't want to pry either, sorry! I somehow thought you may have worked or did work in a bookshop somewhere, for some bizzare reason.
I have already read snippets of the series but would rather read them all pieced together, so have held off comment until I do so. Plus I'm a lazy-hazy git too, and it's 4:49am!
Don't think you could bore us if you tried. I could though!

Nonesense girl, bore, ne'er. I'm off to listen to Bjork, not that she puts me to sleep, mind. I'll talk to you at the back of the reference section (insert smiley for sleeping here)

Jen, something about your timing girl . sorry about that. Cardiff Souls - rubbish rambling - hmmmm good name for a band though. Just recharging my batteries and doing a bit o' cerebral maintenance. The City does look good tonight ....

Aha! The Rainman has sprinkled from behind that hidden cloud!
Well, I'm out on the town tonight, darting here and there, catching up, no umbrella but dodging storms.
Why did you remove all your work? I was looking forward to lacing through them at the w'end, but hey-ho, away they go.
Sorry if I seem nosey, but i was a bit worried about your disappearance act. See? I care.
And I like your writing style. Usually when I have the time, I tend to dedicate a few hours to someone and shuffle through their complete repertoire, (incase I've missed something), but your beat was silent, your stage was bare. I need the music, Sir!
I'm not here for much longer, will be calling that Purple Cab to take me home soon, but if I miss you, do print a little tune on my return, OK?!

Dearest Jen. Thanks for caring ... the music will be back. I'll be filling your rivulet with new and not-so-new droplets. I'll re-post them (not re-submit for review though) and you can get wet all over again . As for my absence ... well .. call it a dry spell. So, there you have it, the umbrellas is out the window and I'm doing my best Fred Astaire (sound of furniture crashing).

Singin' in the Rain in my Ginger Rodgers, (although I'm brunnette), I shall catch those jeweled droplets, (pigeon droppings?), by twillight stumble.
I have books to sell....

You didn't let me twirl, dear Falls!
All your work, gone again... the pigeons, Cardiff, Thursday night. I give up. Cat & Mouse not for me. Just wanted to swim deep in your words not stand on the shore looking out. Strange you never waited to take me on board...
Ah well, I would need to be quicker, eh?
Still, I'm still here ready to read when you're ready to write. Without a doubt, Rainman.
Jen
