Remember?
From Atlanta, Georgia USA, then age ten, they dragged me off to live in the Netherlands for a whole year. I went to the beach everyday on the freezing, gray North Sea because the country was so boring--to a child--especially considering I couldn’t go to a cafe in Amsterdam.
