h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi there, welcome to hootoo (this is what lots of us affectionately refer to h2g2 as!)

SO, so glad Abbi persuaded/bullied yopu into joining us!

It can be incredibly confusing at first, so please don't be afraid to ask if you don't understand what's going on; if you say you're a "newbie" just about anyone will hep you, they are a very friendly bunch! When I first started I knew very little about even the basics of using a computer, even now I am utterly useless at the technology stuff, BUT I do know lots of lovely people on here who CAN do this bit, so please ask if you need any help at all.

One of my roles on here is that I am an Ace, which is basically someone who volunteers to help "newbies" find their way around, I would love to be your Ace if you wanted this.

I have known Abbi snce my very early days on here & count her as a very dear frind, it will be marvellous to chat to you too. What name do you want to be known as? I put TBA as a shorthand form of Twin Brain of Abbi; but you might well prefer someyhing a bit more individual; I know a bit about twins since my ...er..."sisgnificant other"" seems to be the Politically Correct phrase..is also a twin, his sister gets very pi**ed off if people refer to her as "spim's twin"!

Anyway, one thing for you to remember is that if at any time you get lost, just look on the left hand side of the screen, at the top, click on "My Space" & it takes you straight back to your own page. People will leave messages for you there, to reply to them, just click "reply" at the end of the message & type away, preview it to make sure it's OK, then press "Post" to send it.

Anything that is highlighted means you can click on it to go there, this includes peoples names (like mine at the top of this) & if you click on that you will get straight to my personal space, do have a lurk around & be nosy! Join in if you want, or just see what's going on.
