I read for a BA degree at the Open University. Obviously this meant reading literaure. I have read Jane Eyre, History of Pendennis and Vanity Fair, which are by Bronte & Thackery, two authors you say you like.

I'm very sorry for my very delayed reply as I've got horrible cold (not a flu) and I rarely face into my computer

I studied Wuthering Heights at Uni and Postgraduate Uni.
(Unbelivably I've got MA though my Engish is very POOR)

I think you may have a English literature lesson to me as I forget lot of things when I studied at university years ago.

It's getting colder and colder here in Osaka.

It is getting milder, the snow seems to have gone. I finish work at 18:00 today and not back until 28th March which is a bank holiday here, Easter Monday. I'm on Night shift then.

Nope in hospital for operation. First day back today.

It was a knee replacement operation. I had the right one done in 2002, it came to pieces in 2004 and had to be redone. Then this year I had the left one done. It filled with fluid and I hads to return to hopspital to have it drained. It is still painful and has fluid in it. Walking is a problem. Level surfaces are fine, stairs cause a problem.
Hope every thing is fine your way and you are well.

Take care and try to move when you can, I think light exersice may be good for your rehabilitation Not sure.
But if it's very painful, please be stll

I used to do Tai Chi, but it puts a strain on the knees. Walking is good, as long as it's not too far. Standing for too long is uncomfortable. Sitting for too long causes the knees to lock.
But I'm fine.

I never put my e-mail address on public domain incase I get the wrong people using it. This does not include you,obviously. But I have to be careful. A friend gets a load of begging mails, letters trying to selling him things and useless adverts which fill up his mail box, and also could contain a virus. Please do not feel insulted, I have no wish desire or inclination to do that.

Lovely to hearing from you and good to know that you're fine even though you have still problems on your knees.

I'm fine thank you. Just I feel in low because of bad communication with my Japanese friend that made me really depressed
