We have a menu 'American coffee' at coffee shops
This means think/weak coffee.
A Japanese tourist went to America and went to a coffee shop ordering AMERICAN COFFEE
NO AMERICAN COFFEE in US.
In delicatessen, we have 'English Bread'..
What English bread is like... Actually it doesn't seem that I ate in England NEVER!!
