Sorry. I live in the United States. I've never heard of Essex. Am big on gaming (or just playing would probably be more accurate (anything to get out of working smiley - winkeye)), but I'm only sixteen and as such too young to be an "Elder" even if I wasn't Athiest. Finally I'm one of, if not, the least physical teenager you've ever met so no gym for me.

It's nice meeting you though. Feel free drop in whenever you like. smiley - ok

~~Insomniac.Vampire~~

beggining to wish i hadnt asked lol Morning Mr.X,

theres good news and bad....

I HAD MORTAL KOMBAT AT HOME AND I USED TO HAVE SONIC! (on PS now) yay! lmao proof im not that old (mind saying that i cant play it, M.K im rubbish, got to end of Sonic though smiley - wow) smiley - whistle moving on..

i have either played or heard of
risk, monopoly, start wars, (who hasnt) terminal velocity, zork trilogy, lemmings, pokemon!, super mario brothers, D&D, worms, solitaire, tetris (woooh! columns i can do lol) and street fighters! hmmm im not that old lol

havent played for ages on PS but ill have a quick look in bedroom to see what we have;

grand theft auto, tomb raider, card shark, simpson wrestling?, speed freaks, heart of darkness stuff like that (not nearly as many as your collection, the rest are put away), oh we got 'who wants to be a millionaire'..i once got up to 1/2 a million, nearly passed out with the pressure! went on to lose it all on the final question lol never did that again though

you mentioned board games, if the senility dont kick in i seem to remember board games well back in the good 'ol days! LOL only trying to change the subject cos i can only drive in reverse on grand theft auto so im kinda hoping you dont quiz me too much on the games ive played! smiley - dohsmiley - tongueout

Don't worry about me quizzing you on (spit, hiss) Playstation. I am of the utterly firm, completely unshakable, and not at all humble opinion that the (spit, hiss) Playstation and X-Box things are pure evil; not even worth my time or consideration. I don't have any grief with Gamecube, but I've never really used it or have any great knowledge of the games for it.

I'm pretty surprised that you've even heard of Terminal Velocity, Lemmings, Zork (not so much so), and Street Fighter. The simple truth of the matter is that I tend to prefer the older games. Which is a problem as it gets harder and harder to acquire them. Oh well

Mr.X,

well we have the playstation in the house, i never said it was for me but i have 'dabbled' from time to time lol smiley - biggrin

your pretty surprised ive heard of these games? and why is that may i ask? granted im er erm well ahem a few years older than you, (please be kind, dont comment) smiley - winkeye lol but im not ancient!!!!! smiley - tongueout

i too prefer some of the older games, theyre less complicated for 'old' people smiley - laugh dont you dare comment smiley - tongueout

i think if you ask around on here theres bound to be a few people around who will be able to direct you to a site on the net that specialises in the older games smiley - smiley

erm just so as i dont get out of my depth here with the PS games, what kind of music are you into? id like to think i like a good range old and new smiley - biggrin

Mr. X ---> "Be excellent to each other. And party on, dudes!"

I think you misunderstand. I'm surprised you've heard of them because they're, um, well old games. Granted at least some of them (Zork) were incredibly popular (so I've heard) way back when, but certaintly not now. It's just that we've had all of those (except Street Fighter) since before I can remember. I mean understandably most of the "gamers" I meet are teenagers, and most of them haven't heard of those. I'm assuming; I never did ask anyone. Hmmm... Well anyway, I don't prefer any particular music style over another; I just take it as it comes. Except Rap. Can't stand Rap. Or those Rock 'n Roll songs where you can't understand the lyrics and they're just blaring the volume at you full blast and you know you're going deaf but they don't stop. Oh the inhumanity! There are good Rock songs though. However it seems that I tend to prefer older music styles too. Especially Rag Time. Of course with Rag Time it's hard to just listen to the music in your head, because you don't know how to end it. It just loops indefinitely. It's like knowing how to end Rag Time music is some sort of ancient art form.

Evening/Morning Mr.X,

well in that case ill take it as a compliment depending on your definition of 'well old' lol smiley - smiley

i would definately say i am not a 'gamer', i go on and have a bash at it every now and again, 1 of these days im gonna play grand theft auto and get the car to go forwards! now that would be an acheivement! smiley - wowsmiley - biggrin

you dont like rap? joy! smiley - smiley what a crime to music! some of these people have the sweetest voice yet they choose to 'rap'! why? makes no sense to me smiley - doh have to disagree with you on the rock and roll though lol thats pretty smiley - cool rag time????? are you sure your only 16? lol thats even more 'way back' than me actually its wayyyyyyyy back..give me an example of some rag time you like, so as i will have some idea if ive heard it before smiley - smiley

Actually the only one there I've heard of is Free Cell. Never really tried it though. Oh well.

So about the Rag Time. My brother is in Spain and I don't know where he put the CD, so I can't look it up. The only name on there I can remember is Mapleleaf. It's too bad. I'll probably have to wait for him to come back before I can hear them again. *sigh*

Oh well. smiley - boing
