Came across your space whilst lurking. I enjoy a challenge so how about trying to upset me?

I like the sound of your life: dogs, sea, walking, cross words, crosswords, etc etc.... I am willing to cross words with you - in a very pleasant manner, you understand!

I am a mid-fifties Granny (unfortunately I don't mean born in the mid-fifties, I mean I am in my...... oh you get the picture) with three lovely grandchildren which I will not bore you with unless invited, two dogs, three cats, and a guinea pig keeper in limbo (my last one died three weeks ago).

I love crosswords and logic puzzles, although I do have a mild numerical dyslexia and have to really force myself to do the logic puzzles with dates/numbers/percentages in.

I am still in full time employment (mortgage to feed), but can't wait to retire. Have just bought a greenhouse to indulge the other love, propogating. I find the actual gardening bit a might hard as my knees are a bit gammy and getting down to the flower beds is a bit tough.

Went in for a lot of container gardening this year, so that I didn't have to bend so far, but my real love is growing the unusual, taking cuttings from anything and everything I see, and I have also successfully grafted two scions on to my apple tree, thus letting it produce two different kinds of apple.

I won't witter on any more now, you may not want a Granny cluttering up your space, in which case I am sure you will not hesitate to tell me.
