Are you proposing to put your Wollemi Pine piece into the Guide?
I was thinking of putting a Guide Entry together and then spotted your great piece

Hello Frenchbean! It's nice to get feedback!
I didn't think that entry was in the right style: a bit too tongue-in-cheek. What do you think? Perhaps it could be re-hashed. I expect it would need quite a bit of updating.

Well, I had a proper look at it and I reckon the style's fine PR isn't all about serious stuff you know
I do think that Peerers would want more information about the biology, the remoteness, the protection, the possibility of buying yer actual Wollemi Pine etc. There's a heap of info on the Australian Geographic website, as well as in a new book just published.
And interesting to note that Wollemi Pines are not only at Kew now, but most of the major Botanic Gardens in the world. As far as I know it's only Australia that is going to be selling them - in the foreseeable future at least.
I understand your reluctance for WPs to be commonplace in gardens, but I can also understand why people are interested to have a piece of pre-history. If somebody gave me one, I wouldn't say no
Do you fancy updating and putting it into PR? I think it would go down really well and would be a pleasant change from all the geographical/British county entries in there at the moment

Oh, I didn't mean to put a rush onto you if you have better things to do
I look forward to seeing it, whenever you have time to put it in
