Finding Bushido

Post 1

Asmodai Dark (The Eternal Builder, servant of Howard, Crom, and Beans)

Something recently seems to have clicked in my head about this whole Bushido buisness. In fact a lot of things have.

See at first I was worried about not reading the book anymore, but as Yamamoto advises to throw the book away once read through, the very fact I have it still is against the code. Having said that, I beleive his point was that it doesn't matter how many times you read it, theres no point if you don't get it the first time round.

Secondly, I've spent less and less time getting into shape, especially after making a lot of progress. This is the serious matter. I have failed to do what was required of me, but I haven't given up hope yet. Hence why my current 38" waist will be down to a 30" waist by next year or I'll abandon Bushido, cut my net off, and become a priest of a religion chosen at random.

Thirdly, I've taken no care of my only true symbol of Bushido. My bokken sits in the corner of my room, Tsuba-less. Therefore as Yamamoto advised I will be getting up at dawn from now on to meditate in the back garden.

Theres some more stuff but its nearly three so I'm off to bed. Gotta be up in a few hours
