Hi Asmodai dark,

Thank you for your nominations for the h2g2 academy awards, much appreciated. As you may or may not know each year I ask those who have taken part to write a short presentation piece for each award. If you would like to do one this year please respond below and state you're preferred category. And I'll come and tell you what I need.

Well i will depending on who the winner is.

I'll happily do best director (preferably) or best film if involves little people (hint hint), mainly because i've been studing it for the past two years and would love to give a presentation to people who i think deserve it.

Cheers for the offer.

Both are still available. My guess is that the Bearded New Zealander might well make it a treble in the H2G2 categories.

So director or film I need a firm decision one way or the other as I'm trying to spread these out.

All I need from you is a short description of what you will be wearing. The a witty introduction to the category, nominees I'll let you know net week once nominations close and the voting begins. Go up to and including the winner is which I'll insert for you. You may add comments dependnt on various nominees winning which I can include upon you opening the envelope.

Could you clarify all that for me a little

Well lets assume a certain person doesn't win you'd obviously be a little dismayed and there is a possible reaction one way or the other. Look at Jennifer Anniston when Ricky Gervais won best comedy actor over Matt le Blanc at the GG.

ahh i get it, so all i do is basically give you a list of reactions to the various winners, which you'll then insert into a guide entery of some kind. Im just guessing there though, sorry for being a pain in the rear

Sofia Coppola - Lost in Translation
This award goes to a woman who will hopefully follow in her fathers footsteps, and make many many more fantastic films

Peter Jackson - Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
To sum up the efforts of this director isn't easy, seven years of his life has been spent and the result of that will be hailed for many many years to come

Quentin Tarantino - Kill Bill Vol. 1
This director has proven again and again what making movies is all about, being innovative off screen as probibly one of the most well known directors of recent times

Peter Weir - Master and Commander
For his direction of a truley stunning peice of cinema, that left me breathless and sea sick, Peter Weir deserves this award
