if you don't like it, as alot of people don't, then just say so, you don't have to insult mancuniuns by saying manchester is wet and smelly.
apart from that, you say you want knowledge, start by getting people on your side and telling us what knowledge you want.
anything isn't the way to ask, be specific, and that means say what you want to hear/learn about.
I was born and raised in manchester, and moved to shropshire, and I think shropshire is alot better, but wouldn't call manchester anything like you have.

I spent my 5 years in M/ster during and post college, and like that place, and i guess that makes it easier for me not take it personally.
