So boys do serve a practical purpose, do they ?

Boys seem to be the bane of my existence at the moment (and a huge factor in the level of "bizarre" I've been experiencing of late)...I've been happily "single" for the last year or so, but the last 6 months or so have been entirely mad...

...for example, Saturday night I went out...four boys I know (amongst others, of course) decided to all show up at once...unfortunately, two of them where guys I've known for ages, both of whom decided to "bust moves" the week before (one of whom has a girlfriend), one was a mate of mine who I had a short "fling" with, and decides from week to week whether or not he'll ignore me or act like I belong to him...and the fourth was a boy I'd met the night before, done the whole phone number thing, blah blah blah...

...which is just the tip of the chaotic iceberg that has been my life of late !

Does make you wonder why we bother. My fella lives about 300miles away from me and I only get to see him when he comes home and this arrangement suits me fine because we can both go off with other people(and we do), whenever we feel like . But you can't beat it when we are together .

Besides this temporary glitch I have been single for roughly 6 months now and have decided I could do with some ing & , but hey Christmas and our birthdays are coming up soon and I always get some then
The problem with me though is that I either get bored really quick or fall for them in a big way but I shall be and look after myself until I'm mended

Convent life is looking better and better all the time to me ...it doesn't help that my life revolves around a pub which is akin to a small country town....everyone seems to know everybody elses business...

...at least I can comfort myself with the knowledge that others are getting amusement from my soap-opera existence ...in the mean time I guess I'll just have to enjoy all the attention while it lasts

...and yes, our birthdays are coming up...I don't know about you, but I plan on making it a big one this year...in fact, I should probably start practising for the bender now !

I have decided to go on holidays (I need a break), maybe have a holiday romance , and definately a suntan (without the burn). Its funny I drink like a fish when I'm home no matter what the weather but I can't drink at all on holidays, I feel as if it ruins it.
I'm looking forward to Christmas & New Year I'm gona get slaughtered, can't wait I partying!

Got any plans yet?

I plan on avoiding the sun at all costs (it doesn't like me ) but apart from that, no special plans...

...I know I'll be at the pub on my birthday...that way I don't have ot organise anything and I know that most of my mates will be there anyway ...

...I'm so pathetic...

your lucky to have your birthday on New Years Eve because you know everyone will be out I have to beg, lie, cheat and steal to make people come out (only kidding), but because all my friends are on monthly pay everyone has usually spent their money by the time its my birthday so next year I'm going away

I bet you don't have to spend much either
But don't you find being in the same pub each year boring? I like to pub crawl different places

It is lucky because I don't like making a big deal about the birthday, so this way it's less formal...and I can still float around if people get too "intense"...being stuck in a room full of people you know can get a little suffocating sometimes...

...I don't get bored of it...luckily I'm a creature of habit...but a lot's changed in the past year, and we've met different people...the way I figure it half of the weekend is dependant of where you go...the other half depends on who's there...so if you get good people it's always fun...

...last year I had to leave early because my sister (who's older then me, by the way) got sick and couldn't wait for Mum to pick her up (she still lives with our parents)...so while everyone else was out living it up...I was sleeping on the couch listening to my sister vomiting in my bedroom...

Do you know where you'll be going? By the sounds of it, I'm guessing you're after someplace warm??

Not really I've seen a holiday to the Algarve but I'm not sure what the weather will be like at that time of year there and I haven't got much money to go far but I would to go I haven't done that for years, but I have seen a kickboxing holiday to Cypress in the summer (August) which I wouldn't mind either.
I just want a suntan

...meanwhile I'll be spending the evil Melbourne Summer indoors or in the shade...

We may have to work out some sort of exchange at some point...I've never seen the snow...*sigh*

Snow is lovely and you get a lush tan (without the burn), we don't get much over here either unfortunately all we seem to get is slush (melted snow) and its grey and horrible

I would like to go to the land of Oz (they'd have to get rid of all the first)

You don't get TOO many s in the main cities...I moved out by meself almost 4 years ago and I've only had one serious incident, although in the more tree-sy kind of area you might have a few more problems...so if you ever made it down here I'd recommend you find a nice Aussie boy to protect you from the evil eight legged creatures...

Jerk was in yesterday...he's moved into a new place and I think he got a job, I'm sure he'll drop by when he gets in !

I have smashed my car, might lose my job and my washing machine has died, lets hope thats the 3disasters done for me and everything gets better

Jerk has moved out, got a job, don't know what his 3rd is unless you count his drinking bing last week

Yes I'm on my way , the Dr. gave me some ly painkilers but they make me a little sick , but she has said I can start some light training again which is good because I'm going sitting round eating and with a side of .
