i can tell ya now... i'm just too civilized for my own good. perhaps we all are. so, what the hell am i doing in environmental science, anyway? perhaps i should really just hang up the coat, and admit i'm a consuming whore like the best of the worst of us, and proceed to survive on psychedelics or else step in front of a bus (Hummer). Don't think i'm type A or extraverted enough to play these activist roles. I just don't like people enough and I don't know wtf I am doing here.

Why is it, I wonder, that whenever a close, personal friend of mine contacts me after a while they always allude to my unspoken name? Just curious.

The truth won't set you free, but it will give you insight as to why you are in the quagmire to begin with. I put that in my rules as a sarcastic response to all the law enforcement officers that told me that very same line in an effort to make me admit to something or other. What a load of crap.
