h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Wow... I was just reading a few of your Rules for Life (bless you for posting them... you only ever told me the first three.. but I've always wanted to know them all!) Anyway, I was laughing about the swallows/coconut bit and he tells me that the Monty Python "killer rabbit" skit was drawn from a real story about Jimmy Carter wacking a rabbit with a boat oar and excusing himself by claiming that it was attacking him. Funny, huh?

Last time I compiled my rules into a coherant list, it was 86 rules long. Don't have a clue what happened to the others. Not familiar with the 'Killer Rabbit' skit, but that sounds right for good ole Carter. What did you think on my tribute to south park? Could easily be confused with some Arthur Dent advice, but it's really towlie from South Park.

I have so told you more than the first three rules. What about #4? Several of the others are things I've been saying for years, just never given a rule # to.

Did you check out the link I made? I'm so proud of getting the syntax right for that. It's the first hyperlink I've ever written. Also the sight it links to is a great site.

yeah... several of those are familiar, particularly #4. i think you're right: it was the new additions of numbers that threw me off... more detail later, i'm doing a rush job on a paper!
