I saw this on Sunday and now here 'tis streaming, free, for a period. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/08/22/turn-of-the-screw-glyndebourne_n_933206.html
Spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, chocolate ice gream, Garnacha... and I'll take a pint up to my room with me.

We have yet to discover whether my South African broadband is up to the streaming, Douglas... It doesn't seem to be, so I've paused it and will download it to play later, perchance to save.

Ha, thanks to my custom feature 'utubefetch' which I found the script for online, I've now got the Glyndebourne Screw as a video on my hard drive. Oh yeah oh yeah.

I hope you enjoy it. I thought it was a splendid production. It paled, however, against the production I saw five years ago, which was performed 'in the round' in a small theater with the audience sometimes inches away from the performers. It was so enthralling that I several times simply forgot to breathe, only becoming aware of the fact when absolute urgency manifested itself.
