Euphoric One - I can bend minds with my spoon Started conversation Aug 18, 2003
-- Be happy. Blandly enjoyable though the smiley was, I rather more appreciate an explanation. Makes more sense and makes you seem more interesting and .... well, whatever. At least pear-shaped is better than the neatly bland square-shaped entries.

Well-said! Thanks!
So what do people call you around here? EO? One? E-1?
Euphoric One is propbably a bit hard to spell if you are on a digibox, as many h2g2ers are it seems...(not me)

You know, except for you, no one here has typed my name (at least not that I saw .... some might be talking about me behind my back ). E-1 works for me, though; If you prefer, call me Evig1 (Eternal One in German).

sprechen Sie Deutsch, E-1?
I am fluent, as my mother is German, but, not ever having been to a German school, I have difficulty writing/spelling/typing it. But I can speak it pretty well, and can read bits.

Ironically, I don't speak German. I know a bit 'cause my brother's both went up to advanced German and I use the babel fish on Altavista. I call myself Wenig Sinnesbieger and my friend calls himself Evig1.
My mom lived in France for four years and Greece for another four.. I know an infinitesimal (sp?) of both those languages and I know enough Latin that I can usually figure out etymologies.
Wow.. My mom's quadrilingual.

Apex Posted Aug 19, 2003
Very cool... I speak a bit of Spanish, and French is something I would definately like to learn later on...
Quadrilingual, eh? So you speak latin, then?

Euphoric One - I can bend minds with my spoon Posted Aug 19, 2003
I ain't quadrilingual. The only languages I speak are C++, Visual BASIC, ASSEMBLY, etc. I'm a programmer, not a linguist.

Yea sorry, I knew your mom is quadrilingual, I just decided to ask about the latin on the same line...
never really got into computer programming... took a class on it in school and all we did was bl**dy pascal. really put me off...
I know lots of html, though, for what it's worth

Pascal ain't no fun, I know. HTML, though, is actually rather my weak language.
I know C++, C, BASIC, Visual BASIC, Assembly, HTML, some Flash, some Java, some Javascript, and some others I've started to forget.
I have not, unfortunately, gotten very deeply into any of these. The 2-year college I attended never got in-depth.
-Euphoric, if somewhat undereducated

aren't you fifteen? 2 year college? though I do not doubt your ability to shoot up the school ranks and hop right into a college education at the age of four.

Euphoric One - I can bend minds with my spoon Posted Aug 21, 2003
Eh.. At four I was still struggling through the concept of multiplication.
Yes, I am a a fifteen-year-old with an associate's degree, why?
-Euphoric, though slightly confused

"Too many of those" .... wow, I feel ALMOST like someone's discriminating against me, but that's okay, 'cause I am better .... I mean .... *ahem* Sorry.
I used to play the organ, but I'm not much of a musician and now the only keyboard I use is on the keyboard.

Revision: The only keyboard I use is on a computer. Sorry, trying to maintain three convos and one on the phone while posting an intelligent message is an interesting venture.

Oh yes, I've DEFINITELY heard of AIM.. Drop me a line at Da Wacked Kidd, but the most I've ever managed (prob'ly because I never tried more) was twenty-eight conversations at the same time. More than that, though, I was proud when I had five different conversations with the same person. How, you ask?
Two on one computer (normal IM window and chat window), two on another computer (same thing, different chat, though). Then .... the phone. Dang I'm good!
Of course it makes me feel special, I love a good ego booster. Now I feel obliged to retaliate, but that's something I was going to do anyway, so .... *bows* A pleasure to meet you, goodsir.
