Hello David and the Team,
Just to wish you all a very Happy New
Year and continued success with the site.
As a matter of futher interest to you
David you should try and see a documentary film re Monte Cassino that was shown on channel 5 today 29th
Dec.It brings home the very detail that existed at one of the wars greatest Battles in which I believe
your Gt Uncle took part and lost his life.As I have already said,all those
that fought in Italy and their relatives should be justly proud of the determination and hard fought battles that the Cassino showed the spirit of the Allied forces against the might of Hitlers Army.
The 'Dickhead Erbert' who wrote 'The D
Day Dodgers' should hang his head in shame and should see the Documentary if he survived the war. Perhaps he would have second thoughts.
