I'm new here... so, i love reading too!!! And I love Ancient History... what kind of books do you like?

hum, i don't really have a category of books that i like, anything that someone suggest is good i will usually give a try (maybe not right away, sometimes many years before i do), um, i've read loads of sci-fi and fiction. some nonfiction-amazing gracie (it's about a dog), most nonfiction that i read is about animals. so that must mean that since you read and enjoy ancient history, that must be a subject of great interest to you, perhaps your favorite? please correct me if i'm wrong here.
so, do you have any pets? (again, my favorite subject).

Thank you for writing me! That's my first conversation around here. Although i think it's much better a real time conversation, like a chatroom, or something like that. So, you are right. Ancient History is for sure my favorite subject. But i read many other books too! Fiction is very good.
Humm... about pets... well i don't have any, but my girlfriend has a nice dog. Terrier... i guess...
I suggest you to read (if you still haven't) the mists of avalon. I can suggest many other books, if you are interested, even nonfiction...
Tell me, is there a chatroom at H2G2 or BBC opened always? You know, i'm new here...

i don't know about any real-time chat rooms, but i am pretty new at this place myself. sorry i can't be much help in that department. um, the person, the ace that contacted you could answer that for you. that person should be better qualified than i am, and if they aren't, that is a bad sign.
so i've never read the mists of avalon, it is good, eh!? yeah, any books that you could suggest i would be much greatful for! any books that you want to talk about would be very enjoyable for me.

so, i have found you just like you said... i was looking for someone in the search engine, one of the words i used there was "book" indeed!
The books related to king Arthur are very good! I've read plenty of them. I don't know if you enjoy reading the literature "classics", but to begin with my suggestions, i recommend "Gulliver", "Ivanhoe" and "The Time Machine".
Do you want to be a teacher? That's very interesting! I want to study History, but not now. I am just graduated in Electrical Engineering.

hey, that's cool that you found me that way. so you just graduated in electrical engineering! wow! that is a really tough subject! you must be really good in maths and physics! my mom is a math person and my dad's all about science. somewhere in between i aquired a love of reading, but not until a few years ago. so, yeah, i want to teach science to high schoolers! mainly i want to teach them respect for the environment and for Earth! i'm big into science because i love animals so much.
but yeah, i have a bunch of engineering-major friends, one of whom was my roomate last year, she is an electrical engineering major! so what are you doing at the moment? i mean, where do you work and what do you do there??
oh, do you have any pets??
