yeah, but sheep are certainly fun to watch.
i'm not sure i remember joanne, care to refresh my memory (if you don't care to it ok). do you have computers in your classrooms? or are you in some sort of study hall. i used to have study hall in highschool (in the years where i decided not to overstress myself with too many classes) and half of the time we would go to the library where there were computers, but that may have been the only place in the whole school with computers (other than teacher's lounge and office and such--such meaning i could be wrong). so, right now i'm picturing that you are in the library at my school on the computer (or at least you were when you wrote this). it is strange how my mind works, but i like to have a mental picture of things that are written down. i think i picture you as a person that i went to school with. very strange. i can picture us hanging out--though i don't know what you look like, so i just associate you with someone who has dark hair and is mid height, hum, very strange wandering around in my head huh!

christy Posted Sep 25, 2003
study hall is a fill-in class. say you take 5 classes one semester, but there are slots enough for 6, you have to take a study hall. unless you arrange it around lunch and you are a senior (grade 12), then you can have open lunch! i got open lunch and had soup day in which i would go up to the mall to the soup place (which by the way is owned by the man that my mom is now married to, but at that time she didn't know she was going to be) and eat cream of broccoli soup!! yummy! yummy!
did i explain that right? during study hall we just sit there, we aren't aloud to sleep, and we do homework. it took a lot of home time away from the homework so it was nice! um, and it was a big room in the middle of the school (i used to take baby sitting courses there when i was in 6th or 7th grade) that is across from the school library. the study hall monitor (as was his/her proper name) divided up the "class" into the beginning of the alphabet (last name started with A-L) and the end (M-Z). and each group would get a turn, every other day, to go to the library and use the computers and just have a better time.
anyways, i used to hang out with my boyfriend's (when i had a boyfriend) friends during the time at the library (because we could talk then and not in the study hall "classroom") and i just picture you in the library with your friends just talking about the meaning of the universe. that's just what i think of when you say that you and your friends sit around contemplating life.

hey,
i'm from cleveland. it is 5 hours different from you--you are five hours ahead of me. so i'm on right now at 7:30 and where you are is 12:30! i have a friend from newbury who did exchange here last year and we still talk or else i would not know that.
so, is the LRC where you and your gang chat? maybe something that you said earlier made me think that you were at a library. either that or, at my school, there is a sort of garden place (where i got poison ivy--right before prom!!!!!!!!! oh, prom is a big dance for seniors at the end of the year. i had my prom at jacob's field which is the baseball stadium in cleveland! yeah, cleveland indians man! yeah!) that is right out side of the cafeteria and i can picture you there (probably from you saying that your friends hang out in your garden) chatting away.
sorry, long sentence!
i had a very random day, but i haven't the time to tell you about it, i think i will write a journal about it later (the show friends is on in half hour so i have to go watch that! hopefully i'll be on long enough to go about writing the story of my day!)! i will talk to you soon. oh, and just so i can add at least one part of your look to what i think you look like, what is your hair color? mine is blonde, but my newbury friend thinks i am ginger! i think it is strawberry blonde and i have like 20 white hairs (single strands of hair) clustered in the middle of my part! no bangs though. just so you know, though that probably doesn't give much of a picture.
*again!!!!!

sorry to overstep!!! i can derive up some image of you just from whatever. i just like to picture things, i'm strange i guess. the more people i talk to, the more i realize that my mind works very strangely. maybe i should be studied! hurumph (just felt like a fun word to use!). the british thing is the in-thing here! it just goes to show that no one wants to be where they are! everyone hopes for something better, but wouldn't it prove that there is nothing better! i wish people would just accept life as what it is. i think there are two ways to go about life. you could spend all your days wondering what the meaning is, or you could live, just to live, and in the end you would have the answer!

christy Posted Sep 28, 2003
oh, i thought that i overstepped by asking what your hair color was, but i guess i didn't though. so, let me see. i think i see you as mid-tall height, probably around 5feet-7inches or 5-9. with brown hair, spiked most of the time. and that gives me a pretty good vision. i can't think of eyecolor, it doesn't really matter. mostly i don't notice when i look in my mind's eye. hum, i tend to just let my imagination wonder around. it's pretty strange, because for a while i forgot that i didn't know what you looked like, i just saw you in my head, and that was it. don't know if i said this yet, but my head is a very scary place. oh, i forgot i'm doing laundry, last time i was doing laundry i was watching the lord of the rings 2 and now i am again! funny how that works out. man they do a lot of walking around in tolkein's books! yup! i should check me laundry at the moment. see ya later

christy Posted Sep 28, 2003
yeah, i got it right! yippie! man, my weekend has been great! usually i just sit around and read or try to get together with who ever is around. but this weekend i actually had plans! yippie, i am not a loser! actually, maybe i am. i planned this volleyball game for today at 2:00. and i asked every one that i know and told them to invite as many people as they wanted, and in the end one person showed up at 2:00, one more at 3:00! that really sucked. but it was still a lot of fun, i got a huge workout. i used to play volleyball and after i stopped i sort of got out of shape (like running a mile would wipe me out for hours and my face would be bright red for hours as well). so we just bumped the ball around, but it was more work than i've done in a while! good stuff. i wanna join a team again man! but yeah. oh, i'm 20 years old. i like my birthday because it is christmas in july and my name is christy! cool stuff! i'm really into the exclamation points!!!!!! but i don't know if i ever told you my age.
oh, were you asking about my weekend, or what i look like?!

your email (at least the beginning of it) reminded me of Catcher in the Rye. (i would highly recommend it for you if you haven't read it already! it is a must!!!) so who was this chick (insert derogatory comment here), huh?!?! or was she one of those ones that just uses you for a safe time at a bus stop. it was nice of you to wait. i cannot wait for the next matrix movie! man that is going to be sweet. so i haven't been on lately, i had loads of stuff going on. tonight yet i have a broomball game, so perhaps i will catch you some time tomorrow or at least you'll get a message from me. so how have you been? do you know about worry dolls? my friend made me one. you are supposed to count up all your worries, tell them to the dolls (you are supposed to have one doll for each worry), and put them under your pillow before going to bed. then in the morning you wake up and no worries! great stuff. and my friend MADE me one! i was so pleased. and i got to pick out what colors she would use (colors of string to wrap around the dolls for clothes-type stuff)! yippie!!!! ok, i'm really hyper and i must go! i hope that you have a great day! i hopefully will talk to you soon

i had a friend once (he is still my friend, but i haven't seen him for months, anyways...getting back to my story...) and he is way over 6 feet. i don't know exactly, but he is huge--probably 7 feet, if not then almost, and if he is, then he's probably more! and he went to the prom with some little chick, like 5 feet tall! it was so cute. and that was my story.
i don't know about showing both films at once, unless there was an intermission, for people to use the bathroom and such. but yeah, about the stabing, you know, whatever floats your boat. no worries dude. sorry, too many cliches! aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! i'm in cliche hell!
anyways, gotta hit the hay! see ya on the flip side

christy Posted Oct 5, 2003
yeah, i use the flip side all the time! how long is your dragon story? i wrote a story, it was creepy though. i tend to write really good creepy stories. go figure! oh, i wish i had time to read your journal. i am so bogged down lately and i need activity, so i go out and play games. last night it was street hockey, without the rollerblades. it was great! i ran into the wall and got hit with the ball three times! i'm a gonna have many bruises for a while! yippie. did i tell you that i ran into a lampost! well if i haven't then yep, i ran into a lampost. but it wasn't my fault. cause i was in tae kwon do class and it was outside, only we were blindfolded which was supposed to take us out of our comfort zones. so anyways i was walking around trying to find my friend and when i finally heard her screaming my name i ran to her and ran into a lampost instead. so now i have a huge bruise on my thigh! it's the size of texas man! i'm all bruised man, like a nectarine! or an apple. yep, i'm an apple.
i hate dog food comercials where they make the dogs do stupid stuff like dancing around! and cat comercials where they talk or make stupid expressions! why must we personify everything to get everybody interested in it! but aparently our (the usa's) comercials are better than the ones you got! so i'm supposed to be happy about singing cats and other stupid stuff. well, i'm not, i do take life for granted though! very much so. i'm glad to be me and to be in the us! Cate Blanchett is my favorite actress. the gift is a scary movie. and such and such of stuff. wow, that was fun. so how are you doing lately? i could read your journal, but do you have a condensed version? wow this is a scary movie! scary scary scary. man, i'm not good with scary movies and when i'm alone! tomorrow will be a better day! yippie. then more week of school. boo! ah well, ttfn!
