Sweetheart, when you change your name on here, you SHOULD have a new ID number, or have I misunderstood you?
Tell me about the problems you've had.

I changed it, then I tried to get back on and it wouldn't let me, so know I have a new ID number but I kept the old name, 3 Id numbers and 2 names, make sense??
I had someone who was reading my posts and then harassing me by phone and on e-mail and some of the people I was talking to!! So new name/id, blocked them on e-mail and I no longer can recieve calls from the UK at home!! It has been such a pain in the ass, but I couldn't take it anymore!!! I was getting calls at midnight and they would just ring over and over

Unfortunately that's the chance you take with an open site like this one. You never really know the kind of person you're talking to, and there are a lot of wierdo's out there! However, having said all of that, there are some really nice people here too; I guess it's the same the whole world over, people are people.

Doing nothing can be very rewarding! Just watching the world go by is a favourite passtime of mine, under the right circumstances.
It reminds me of that poem, do you know it:- "What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare?"

LEISURE by W.H.Davies
What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare?
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich the smile her eyes began.
A poor life this, if full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
A personal favourite of mine, hope you like it too!

Well I don't know I never really took too many poetry classes, lots of literature, but really no poetry I do like though!!

Hoon Posted Aug 25, 2003
I never took any poetry classes either, I have just learned to love it down the years. I have collected literally hundredds of them on all kinds of subjects. I am starting a weekly featured poem on my personal space, where I'll post a new poem each week, and if anyone wants to comment on them, then they can. I don't expect many postings though, I think I'm in a bit of a minority!

I saw the one you posted not too long ago, I would have commented on it, but that was about the time I changed names and I didn't want to leave any traces!!! I am looking forward to reading more!!

Thank you, you're very kind. Have you looked at my personal space lately? It's changed a bit. Perhaps you'd be kind enough to let me know what you think.
How's the mall?

MISS MARTINI(SHAKEN NOT STIRRED) Posted Aug 28, 2003
I sure will!!
The mall is doing okay, my store has been in a huge mess!! We have/are in the middle of a remodel and we have been moving things around for the last two weeks now

I used to work in a big general store years ago, the customers can drive you mad sometimes, can't they!
again
MISS MARTINI(SHAKEN NOT STIRRED) Posted Aug 28, 2003
Oh I would say it's a little more than mad!!! There are times where I am going around cussing at them underneath my breath, and if there are screaming kids around you better really watch out, I might snap!!
So I see you were smart enough to get out when you could!!

I decided I wanted to travel. So I gave up shop work and went to Europe. Mind you, that was a long time ago!
