Welcome to H2G2.
Its good to see a 12 year old who is keeping knitting alive! I tried it once but I wasn't good at it. I love music and languages, (I have studied french, german and latin plus many others).
Have a good read about those subjects in the guide, there'll be a lot that will interest you - language has its own section.

Same here about languages, I have studied Latin and Greek and (shudder) french, which I hate because of my french teacher who will go nameless until I play a really good joke on him in April, just to get even.
