Hun is a "term ov endearment" where i come from kind ov like "mate" i suppose If you click on one ov the smileys it will take you to Smiley Central LOL where you will find them all

By your question, I understand "Lol" means laughing, pleasure, etc.

In Dutch "Lol" exactly means great pleasure, but Dutch is Dutch.

Maybe it's one of those h2g2 subcultutal cult-talk, maybe it's "high English" or whatever.

At least,I learned one new word today. At least to understand. I won't use it, because the devil is in the detail, as always.
