Today - April 20th 2004 - it's the 40th birthday of BBC-II.
Tonight there's a special T.V. program at -II about it.
To me it's the very best Channel (together with BBC-world)
for a lot of reasons; 
Very skillful, beautiful dramaproductions, English language, creative,
humor, decent, lots of history programs, no commercials (!),not even an irritating logo at the screen during the programs, etc.
Except the snooker ...... but that seems to be inevitable in Great Britain.
So, Beep, háppy birthday !! 
and may you live very, very long and never be privatised!
